From 10am at the Memorial Hall
British Legion craft fayre
Thanks to the Holy Jesus church of Lydbrook for the loan of tables for this coming Saturday’s craft fayre at the Memorial Hall. All tables are fully booked and there was a waiting list of those we could not accommodate on this occasion. Come and see what wares are on display and perhaps start your Christmas shopping this weekend.
Opening hours:
10am to 4pm
Proceeds in support of this year’s poppy appeal.
Lydbrook’s war memorial
Thanks to members of the British Legion for repainting the railings in front of the memorial. We expect to be recycling the wreaths and crosses from last year once they are removed prior to remembrance Sunday this year.
The Hall will be open on the morning of November 13th 2022 and we will have our usual service of remembrance at the front of the Hall. Closure of the B4234 road between Hangerberry and Church Road by the police has been arranged. Service will start at 10.45.
Wednesday Yoga
Come along and try some yoga at the Memorial Hall. Experienced or beginner, it matters not…

In Memorium
The Union flag that flies at Lydbrook Memorial Hall has been lowered to half-mast in line with official flags around the country in respect of the passing of Her Majesty the Queen.
Members of the public and Lydbrook Silver Band gathered at the Hall at 9a.m this morning to honour her life of duty to this great country. May she rest in peace.
GOD SAVE THE KING
